However, Hastelloy Screws is more sensitive to strain and strain rates than the austenitic stainless steels, and the hot working temperature range is quite narrow.
The temperature of Hastelloy Hex Head Bolts was adjusted in 5 Degree C increments to determine the critical pitting temperature and critical crevice corrosion temperature of each alloy. Hastelloy Square Nuts provides resistance to general corrosion, pitting, crevice corrosion, inter - granular attack, and stress corrosion cracking. The joint surface and adjacent area of Hastelloy Flat Washers should be thoroughly cleaned before welding, where all grease, oil, crayon marks, sulfur compounds, and other foreign matter should be removed. Hastelloy Hex Head Screws can easily be cold-worked because of its ductility and cold-forming is the preferred method of forming.
